Magazines currently on my desk.
I never expected Tuesday, May 3, 2011, to be a prominent day in history for me, but this morning I decided to let today be the day I officially launch my magazine – KandiKreatives Mag. Ok, so maybe it’s a blogazine, but I’ve always dreamed of having my own publication. Granted, I always imagined it would have pages I could feel between my hands instead of pages to scroll through using a questionable object called a mouse. Still, it is here – the day and my dream.
I still have plenty of work to do – I need to give my magazine some style, but sometimes things just have to be done out of order. In my case, I just needed to get going and worry about the “look” later.
So, now that it’s here, you must be wondering what you have to look forward to. Well, the subject of my magazine is “Pieces of Me.” Kandi is a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, dancer, writer, reader, health enthusiast who is addicted to snowboarding, photography, playing with words, trying new things, and God. There’s no telling what you’ll find here, so hang on to your mouse and enjoy the ride.
